PJS Group is seeking an Estimator to join our innovative team of professionals. We are a general and electrical construction contractor specializing in transportation infrastructure systems as well as heavy-highway, utility, bridge, and building construction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing detailed take offs and estimates
- Understanding project goals and deadlines
- Reading and understanding plan drawings and developing accurate take offs
- Proposing innovative solutions
- Soliciting, evaluating, and negotiating sub-contractor quotes
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- S. in a related Engineering discipline preferred
- Minimum of 5 years construction estimating experience; heavy-highway and civil preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge and experience using HCSS preferred
- Highly organized and detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong adherences to milestones and deadlines
- Ability to build positive and sustainable relationships with peers, subordinates, and vendors
