PJS Group is seeking a Accounts Payable Assistant to join our innovative team of professionals. We are a general and electrical construction contractor specializing in transportation infrastructure systems as well as heavy-highway, utility, bridge, and building construction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Processing and reconciling vendor invoices as well as accurately entering invoices into the Accounting system
• Preparing subcontractor waivers
• Following up with project teams and vendors
• Providing credit card entry support as well as administrative support which includes scanning, copying, and filing
• Assisting with opening and distributing incoming mail
• Providing back up Receptionist duties
• Assisting with special projects as needed

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 1 year of accounts payable experience as well as 2 years of administrative assistant experience, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel Skills
• Knowledge of Timberline and/or Viewpoint a plus
• Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to timely follow through on tasks
• Must be able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, be self-motivated, and an effective team player
• Notary (willing to become a Notary)
