Controller – PJS Construction Holdings, Inc.                                                                                                                      

Job Type:  Full-time – Effective Immediately
Salary Range: $130,000 to $175,000

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Controller will report directly to the CFO and work with the VP of Finance in overseeing all aspects of the Administrative, Finance and Accounting activities of all of the PJS Group companies, joint venture partnerships, and affiliates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Senior Accounting interface with leaders in each business unit to help foster cohesive, accurate, and timely outcomes / reporting.
• Prepare work-in-progress WIP schedules and gross profit reports for the bonding company.
• Forecast and develop cash reports for monitoring working capital, liquidity, and cash flow for operations and bank covenants.
• Collaborate with Project Cost Controls team to ensure accurate reporting.
• Management of all aspects of Accounts Receivable; assist in oversight of Accounts Payable.
• Assist with financial close including preparing accruals, reports, and reconciliations for external semi-annual review and annual audit report.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is strongly preferred; master’s degree or CPA designation is a plus.
• Previous construction company experience is required.
• Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role.
• Prior experience working in a company with multiple entities and complex accounting programs and processes.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel Skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to timely follow through on tasks.
• Must be able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, be self-motivated, and an effective team player.
